About Us
Preparing young people and under represented communities to be powerful advocates for themselves and their peers.
Concerned about the lack of critical thinking and problem solving skills combined with a lock-out of youth voice, a group of friends founded the National Center For Democracy to advocate for more youth involvement. Since 2004 our organization has become the networking and home base for some of the most active youth involvement organizations in America.
Through advocacy, trainings, and support the National Center For Democracy plays a key role in not only supporting the work of our partner organizations, but opening new avenues for other youth to serve.
